規劃行程時在 Jalan和 Rakuten等網站選擇天橋立一帶的溫泉旅館。從各個不同價格帶、用家回應等細心瀏覽，千挑萬選下選上了這間在宮津方面，毗鄰天橋立運河的文珠莊……

不可以說很不滿意，和預想之中一樣是頗具歷史的舊式溫泉旅館，設備和設置方式都明顯是具有歷史的。我們的房可以看到運河，也有一個幾間房共用的後廊。

不過夕食和溫泉是比較平凡。溫泉不方便拍照，雖然仍有區分室內和室外浴場，但是面積是大叔住過的溫泉旅館中比較細小，人多的時候難免比較嘈雜和擠迫。大叔比較幸運，男湯那邊不算多人之餘，結伴同行的人也自律，問題不大，可是聽歐巴桑說女湯那邊一大班嬸嬸高談闊論，那就比較痛苦。

夕食的情況同樣，食物量以同類溫泉旅館會席料理中偏少（不過絕對吃飽的），而且烹調上也沒有特別令人驚喜之處，這不期然令人有點失望。相對於之前去四國祖谷溫泉和小豆島的溫泉料理旅館實在頗有不及。

那麼說來又是否一無是處呢？倒也不是。此店房間的環境、被舖和枕頭等等都十分舒服，睡醒感覺極佳。另外朝食的質素比夕食好，份量足夠（不是十分多）而且吃起來感覺不錯，當然也不排除經過前一晚夕食令期望降低故有此情況。
整體來說大叔感覺中規中矩，天橋立附近有很多旅館，假設下次再去也比較傾向訂另一間了。
